- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut into strips.
- Place a spoonful of chocolate chip cookie dough at one end of each strip.
- Twist the pastry around the cookie dough, sealing the ends.
- Brush the twists with a beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a sweet finish, sprinkle coarse sugar on top after the egg wash. You can also add a thin smear of jam or chopped nuts before twisting.
