Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free alternative)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 2 cups homemade gravy
- Mashed potatoes (for serving)
Instructions
- Tenderize the sirloin steak and cut it into serving portions.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well-combined.
- In another bowl, mix the flour with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each piece of sirloin in the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the breaded steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
