  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, melted butter, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, flour, and softened butter. Mix until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the pecan topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
