- 3–5 large potatoes
- 3.5 tbsp butter
- A bunch of fresh dill
- Salt
- Smoked paprika
- Black pepper
- Oregano
- 1.1 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 large tomato
- 2.5 oz tomato paste
- A bunch of fresh parsley
- 3.5 oz mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash with butter, dill, salt, paprika, black pepper, and oregano.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper until browned.
- Add chopped tomato and tomato paste to the meat mixture, cook until heated through, then stir in chopped parsley.
- Form the mashed potatoes into nests on a baking sheet.
- Fill each nest with the beef mixture and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For fluffier mash, use russet or Yukon gold potatoes. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
