Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes (with juice), cream, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a simmer, then add the pasta, stirring to combine.
  5. Cook according to pasta package instructions until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For quicker prep, use pre-chopped onion or frozen minced garlic. Leftover pasta can be reheated with a splash of water or stock.
