A playful Caprese twist turns a classic into a festive bite, featuring stacked tomato, basil, and mozzarella in snowman shapes.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 fresh mozzarella balls
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze
  • 6 black olives (pitted)
  • Toothpicks or small skewers

Instructions

  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
  2. Drain the fresh mozzarella balls and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Thread one cherry tomato, followed by a fresh basil leaf, and then a fresh mozzarella ball onto a toothpick or skewer. Repeat for each skewer.
  4. Slice the black olives to create the snowman’s eyes and mouth. Use a toothpick to attach them to the mozzarella ball to form a face.
  5. Drizzle the assembled skewers with balsamic glaze.
  6. Arrange the Snowman Caprese Skewers on a serving platter and serve chilled.

Notes

For a faster face option, use small capers or a dab of pesto for eyes instead of olives.
