Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the steak pieces, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic, broccoli, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Return the steak to the skillet and add the cooked linguine. Toss everything together.
- Remove from heat and add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and well combined. Serve immediately.
Notes
Trim and slice your steak the night before to speed up prep. Use pre-cut broccoli and pre-sliced mushrooms for convenience. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
