- 2 cups cheese tortellini
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
- Add the diced chicken to the pot, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cheese tortellini, stirring to combine. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the tortellini are tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Keep diced chicken pieces uniform for even cooking. Reserve pasta water to loosen sauce if necessary.
