Ingredients

- 1 (16-oz) block extra firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch (or tapioca starch)
- 1 Tbsp vegan chicken bouillon powder (or seasoning of choice)
- 1 tsp – 1 Tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and bouillon powder.
- Add the pressed and cubed tofu to a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle on the cornstarch/bouillon mix and drizzle on the soy sauce. Toss everything gently until evenly coated.
- Add to your air fryer basket in an even layer. Air fry at 370°F for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket every 5-10 minutes.
- Serve immediately over rice or veggies, or toss in your favorite sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
Notes
Press the tofu thoroughly to improve crunch. Refrigerate coated tofu uncovered for an extra chew.
