- 1 lb lean ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- If using, spread the marinara sauce on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
For faster prep, use store-bought grated Parmesan and pre-minced garlic. Chill the formed loaf for a firmer texture and bake on parchment for easy cleanup.
