Quick, elegant dessert with a smooth cream cheese and ganache base, folded into whipped cream and layered with fresh raspberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache (melted chocolate with cream)
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for garnish)
  • Additional raspberries and chocolate shavings (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sugar, mixing until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the melted chocolate ganache to the cream cheese mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in the whipped cream until combined.
  5. In serving cups, layer the mousse mixture and fresh raspberries.
  6. Repeat layers until cups are filled.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  8. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with additional raspberries and chocolate shavings.

Notes

Use a good quality store-bought ganache to save time. Assemble in clear cups for an elegant presentation.
