Ingredients
Scale
- 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 oz red food coloring gel
- 16 Oreos
- 54 cookies and cream kisses
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring, mixing until fully combined.
- Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Arrange Oreo cookies evenly over the batter, then pour the remaining batter on top and spread to cover.
- Place cookies and cream kisses evenly on top of the batter.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Press Oreos gently into the first layer so they don’t float to the top when adding the second layer. For best texture, check doneness near the center and cool completely before cutting.
