- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 hamburger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up, and cook until browned.
- Stir in the French onion soup mix and beef broth; simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the mixture on toasted hamburger buns, topped with cheese if desired.
Notes
For added crunch, toast the buns under the broiler for 1-2 minutes while the filling simmers.
