A quick and delicious chicken dish coated with sweet heat from honey and hot sauce, topped with tangy feta cheese.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 ounces feta cheese
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together honey, hot sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey mixture over them.
  4. Crumble feta cheese on top of the chicken.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.

Notes

Trim any excess fat from chicken for even cooking. If short on time, slice breasts into cutlets to reduce cook time.
