- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (250 g), thawed
- 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries (40 g)
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- 1 egg, for egg wash
- Honey, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until thin.
- Cut the pastry into squares approximately 4 inches.
- Place the squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Layer with slices of Brie cheese and dried cranberries on each square.
- Sprinkle toasted walnuts over the filling for added crunch.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket.
- Brush each pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Drizzle with honey, if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
Thaw the pastry properly for best results. Chill the assembled pastries before baking for extra flakiness.
