Quick and easy festive treats combining fresh cranberries, cream cheese, and pecans wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens (about 10 minutes). Allow to cool.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into triangles.
  4. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on each triangle. Add a spoonful of the cranberry mixture and a sprinkle of chopped pecans on top.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, creating a roll.
  6. Place the roll ups on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

These roll ups can be prepped in advance, and the cranberry mixture can be made a day before serving.
