- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 head of garlic (whole cloves)
- Fresh thyme (to taste)
- 1 cup asiago cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Olive oil (for roasting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, place the chicken thighs and surround them with whole garlic cloves.
- Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme.
- Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and stir in shredded asiago cheese until melted and combined.
- Once the chicken is done, smother it with the creamy asiago gravy before serving.
Notes
Pat chicken dry before seasoning for crispier skin. Roast garlic unpeeled; squeeze cloves out after roasting for easy use.
