Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 head of garlic (whole cloves)
  • Fresh thyme (to taste)
  • 1 cup asiago cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Olive oil (for roasting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, place the chicken thighs and surround them with whole garlic cloves.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme.
  4. Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and stir in shredded asiago cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Once the chicken is done, smother it with the creamy asiago gravy before serving.

Notes

Pat chicken dry before seasoning for crispier skin. Roast garlic unpeeled; squeeze cloves out after roasting for easy use.
