- 1 cup olives (mixed varieties, pitted)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the olives, garlic, capers, parsley, lemon juice, and olive oil.
- Pulse until the mixture is finely chopped but not pureed.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve as a dip, spread on bread, or alongside crackers.
Notes
Tapenade can be made a day in advance to let the flavors meld. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week in an airtight container.
