- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (optional)
- Tortillas (for serving)
- Toppings (cheese, lettuce, sour cream, etc.)
Instructions
- In a crockpot, combine ground beef, taco seasoning, water, and tomatoes (if using).
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes until the meat is fully cooked and flavors are blended.
- Once ready, shred the meat with a fork and serve in tortillas with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a firmer texture, you can brown the beef in a skillet first. Can substitute half the beef with ground turkey or plant-based substitutes.
