Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic until the meat is no longer pink; drain excess fat.
- Mix in beef broth, sliced mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and frozen mixed vegetables; simmer to meld flavors.
- Pour the beef mixture into a baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
- Spoon a generous layer of mashed potatoes over the cheese, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until heated through and top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
