Ingredients
Scale
- 16 ounces firm or extra-firm tofu, well-pressed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Buffalo sauce (to taste)
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Croutons (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes. Toss the tofu with cornstarch and soy sauce until evenly coated.
- Spread the tofu cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the tofu is baking, combine chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing in a large bowl and toss until the lettuce is evenly coated.
- Once the tofu is done baking, toss it with the desired amount of Buffalo sauce.
- Serve by plating the spicy tofu alongside the Caesar salad. Optionally, top the salad with Parmesan cheese and croutons for extra crunch.
Notes
Press tofu properly to remove excess moisture. Use a plant-based Caesar dressing for a vegan version.
