Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 4 ounces brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into star shapes using a cookie cutter.
  3. Place half of the star cutouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. On each star, place a slice of brie and a small dollop of cranberry sauce.
  5. Top with the remaining star cutouts and press the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days. Reheat to restore flakiness. Can be frozen for later use.
