- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 4 ounces brie cheese
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into star shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Place half of the star cutouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- On each star, place a slice of brie and a small dollop of cranberry sauce.
- Top with the remaining star cutouts and press the edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days. Reheat to restore flakiness. Can be frozen for later use.
