- 1 can (15 oz) pineapple chunks, drained
- 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup sour cream or whipped cream
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Open and drain the pineapple chunks and mandarin oranges.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pineapple, mandarin oranges, mini marshmallows, and shredded coconut.
- Add the sour cream or whipped cream and mix gently until everything is well combined.
- If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
- Serve and enjoy this sweet and creamy salad at your next gathering.
Notes
Drain the canned fruit very well to prevent a watery salad. To save cleanup, assemble the salad in a large bowl that can also serve as the presentation dish.
