Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture until well combined.
  5. Gently fold in the toffee bits and mini chocolate chips.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten slightly with your hand.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
