- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add olive oil, flour, and salt to the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small pieces. Roll each piece into a knot shape.
- Place knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, garlic powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Brush this mixture onto the knots.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
