Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • Crushed candy canes for garnish
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream over medium heat.
  2. Add the chocolate chips and stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract and sugar if desired.
  4. Heat until warm, then pour into mugs.
  5. Top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
