Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheese (your choice)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and season with salt and pepper.
- Dip one slice of bread into the egg mixture, covering both sides thoroughly.
- Place the egg-coated slice on the skillet, then add cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Dip the second slice of bread in the egg mixture and place it on top of the cheese.
- Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy your breakfast twist!
Notes
Use a cast iron skillet for even heat distribution. Don’t rush the flip for the best result.
