Delicious Breakfast Grilled Cheese

A quick and satisfying breakfast twist on the classic grilled cheese, packed with protein and cheesy goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (your choice)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Dip one slice of bread into the egg mixture, covering both sides thoroughly.
  4. Place the egg-coated slice on the skillet, then add cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Dip the second slice of bread in the egg mixture and place it on top of the cheese.
  6. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your breakfast twist!

Notes

Use a cast iron skillet for even heat distribution. Don’t rush the flip for the best result.
