Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, honey (or maple syrup), nut butter (if using), salt, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy your healthy snack!
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days or in the fridge for up to a week.
