A simple and elegant baked pear recipe featuring creamy goat cheese and tart cranberries, perfect as an appetizer or light dessert.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1 cup cranberries (fresh or dried)
  • Honey for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the pears in half and core them.
  3. In a bowl, mix goat cheese, cranberries, and a pinch of salt together.
  4. Stuff the pear halves with the cheese and cranberry mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed pears on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil and honey.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender and golden.
  8. Serve warm as an appetizer, side dish, or dessert.

Notes

For a firmer texture, use slightly underripe pears. If using dried cranberries, soak them in warm water for 5 minutes before using.
