An elegant fast bake that transforms ripe pears into a savory-sweet treat with feta, honey, and cranberries.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped walnuts for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together feta cheese, dried cranberries, honey, olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fill each pear half with the mixture.
  4. Place the stuffed pears in a baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the pears are tender.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with extra honey and topped with chopped walnuts if desired.

Notes

Choose pears that are ripe but still firm for best results. Store in an airtight container for up to three days.
